Banglabandha Zero Point is a transit point for trade and travel between Bangladesh and India. It is located in the northern district of Panchagarh, near the Mahananda river and close to Himalayas. It marks the border crossing between Bangladesh and India.
From here, India’s Siliguri in only 7 km away, Darjeeling 58 km and Nepal’s Kakarvita is about 30 km away. Many travelers and tourists use Banglabandha Zero Point to go by road between Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Because of this, Panchagarh district has become more popular and is now seen as an important tourist destination in Bangladesh.
It’s also where the Banglabandha Land Port was built on September 1, 1997, on about 10 acres of land. This land port helps Bangladesh connect and do business with India, Nepal, and Bhutan. It’s an important place for trade and travel between the countries.

How to Go:
If you want to go directly from Dhaka to Tetulia, you can go by Hanif or Burimari Express bus. Both AC/Non AC service available. Besides, you can go to Tetulia via Panchagarh.
Nabil Paribahan, Hanif Enterprise, Tanjila Travel, Barkat Travel can go to Panchagarh from Dhaka's Shyamoli, Gabtali Bus Terminal and Mirpur.
If you want to go by train, you can come to Panchagarh from Kamalapur in Dhaka by Panchagarh Express, Ekta and Hirtyan Express trains. According to the class, the train ticket fare ranges.
Local buses ply from Panchagarh to Tetulia at regular intervals throughout the day. Banglabandha Zero Point can be reached by battery powered auto by going down to Tetulia Bazar.
