Foy’s Lake is an artificial lake in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Foy’s Lake covers an area of ​​about 336 acres in the Khulshi area adjacent to the Pahartali railway station in Chittagong. It was created in 1924 by constructing a dam across the stream that came down from the hills in the northern part of Chittagong. The purpose of creating an artificial lake was to provide water to the residents of the railway colony. It was named after Mr. Foy, a Railway engineer, believed to materialize the said project. The lake was dug by the Assam Bengal Railway Authority in 1924. At that time the lake was famously known as ‘Pahartali Lake’.

Tickets for the entrance to Fayez Lake cost 300 takas per person. And the price of an entrance ticket with all rides and ice cream is 350 taka per person excluding boat rides and a bumper car. There are 3 packages of Tk400, Tk.500, and Tk.600 for entering and exploring the Sea World.

Foy’s Lake is open to visitors daily from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The entrance to Foy’s Lake closes at 6 pm on Friday and Saturday respectively. However, if you want to see the whole of Foy’s Lake, you should reside at the resort and take a maximum of what the spectacular place offers for everlasting memories.
